Webs can show us many things about life

   Day 17 of "Alphabet House" was  so much fun. The beginning discussion question got the children to brainstorm," Why do you think spiders make webs?"
The children came up with " If they make  a web they can live in it ."  The Concept Review was  very  interesting. I put " Itsy Bitsy Spider" on my magnetic board and I told the kids about the five spiders. They kept looking and they found all the letters. All the kids keep wanting to put the letters on the Alphabet House.  The " Weave a Web" craft was fantastic . All the kids love painting. This activity gave them opportunities with fine motor skills and with logic and reasoning. 

The kids were really engaged in learning with finding the five spiders and putting letters on the Alphabet House. The kids start asking me about the letters the minute I get them out.

We worked on letters and numbers in our journal , made our spider web, and kept learning how to read a calendar. On to more amazing adventures with Mother Goose Time Curriculum !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
