All kinds of fruit.

Illinois has jumped back to summer this week. We have gotten spoiled with temperatures in the 80's.We have enjoyed Mother  Goose Time Curriculum  this week. The Johnny Appleseed  book was very inventive. I like that there some math put in it with the seeds. I got out a map of the United States so we could find the states they talked about in the book. The book was enjoyed so much we had to read through it again. We got to work with out journals too. The number three activity went well. One area that is bothering  me  is the kids are still struggling with recognizing numbers. We have some work to do with numbers.  Our More Literacy Workbooks are always a good time. This little girl made her own version of a tree.

The More Literacy workbook really does  bring information to the kids in a fun way. With this little girl she would do the whole workbook in one day if I let her. My youngest daughter Makayla working on the spelling words I wanted her to do. She is a hard worker.
We conquered the Life Cycle of an Apple Tree. The cards really helped the kids visualize what it looks like.
We got tons of practice with patterns just by using a calendar. Writing letters occupied our day too.

The "Cherry Tree Collage" was really fun . The kids could make their hand any way they wanted  and they got to eat popcorn. They took off with the orange and cherries patterns. We have more adventures waiting with Mother Goose Time Curriculum. To be continued .........
